Hi, I am Michelle. My goal is to learn your story, your style, your vision, then design you something beautiful and artisan.

First, I’d like to share my story on how a series of unassuming events led you, to find me. Back in 2013, I was well on the happy path to settling into life, but something was missing. I had a yearning to do something more; I needed to find a hobby. It was my sister who had the idea of enrolling in basic floral classes. Two weeks later, we were on our way.  Arranging Basic 1 and Basic II. Little did I know that this was the start of something truly amazing for me.

By the first week of class, we had advanced to designing boutonnieres and corsages. Quickly, I was able to get creative putting my own spin on them. I began using lace and styling my designs to look vintage. Proud of my work, I began staging and photographing them throughout my home. I wanted to share them with the world!  I made designs I would love as a bride and couldn’t wait to tackle everything on Pinterest.

By that spring, buckets of fresh flowers “mysteriously” kept appearing in my sunroom.  I was selling my work to every family member I could think of. I knew exactly where I was going with this new found love affair; down the aisle and never looking back! Determined to start my new career, I found myself thinking of a business name.  Sitting around the dinner table browsing online photos, my brother found a snowberry boutonnière.  Instantly, memories of my snowy childhood winters in Vermont flashed through my mind.  I was reminded of the simple things in life.  Family, love, laughter, and hospitality. Deeply inspired by that single chic boutonniere, it became my logo and the rest is history.

In 2014, I made the move to Southern California where I continued my floral education and became fully certified.

I love what I do. It delights me to no end knowing my work will be the centerpiece of your table as your guests' sip bubbly and celebrate your story. Its inspiring to know the bouquets I design will eventually be held by a bride and setting the tone for the rest of the day. Knowing I am a part of such a special occasion in someone's life, fills my heart with endless amounts of joy. It really is an honor to be doing what I do.

My story pauses here. Today, my designs are inspired by your stories. A customized experience; one different than the typical floral shop. We will plan together and laugh together; we will have a lot of fun. I will listen diligently to ensure your arrangements represent you. I love every one of my couples. I often find myself feeling as part of your family rather than your floral designer. Give me a call sometime so that we can chat about what you are dreaming of!

Love,

Michelle
